Mission-specific functions outside the general compute, instrumentation, and networking pattern: S-band telemetry downlink, GNSS positioning and timing, multi-hundred-gigabyte onboard storage, and H.264 video encoding. Each module is selectable to suit the vehicle and mission profile without disturbing the rest of the stack.
